We all know that electric vehicles’ primary purpose is to provide transport while reducing harmful air pollution from fossil fuel exhaust emissions. But did you know that the battery in an EV can be used as an alternative source of power?
Vehicle-to-load (VTL or V2L) is an innovative feature that enables an electric vehicle to provide AC power from the EV battery to an electric appliance or anything that consumes electric power, such as lights or even a household electrical circuit, via an inverter. The AC power outlet can be used much like a backup generator.
