TREK acknowledges the traditional custodians of the upper Kiewa River lands and waters, the Jaitmathang, Dhudhuroa and Waywurru peoples, who have deep cultural, social, environmental and spiritual connections to this region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and we extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
We honour their spirit and the memory, culture, art and science of the world’s oldest civilisation.
